probably a dumb question. I have a classic with a dead original disk, which i want to replace with a newer non-apple (sun formatted as it happens) disk.
I have heard that you have to do _something_ to make os 6.x install but i'm not sure what. Also does anybody know which SCSI id the boot drive on a classic needs to sit on (or if there is a scsi tool which will tell me which id the new drive i have is sitting on (the jumpers are not particularly useful)). owen -- Owen Cliffe, Ph.D. Student, Dept.
