Running any sort of server on an SE/30 under BSD or Linux is the same 
as running them on a dual 1000Mhz G4, a quad 600Mhz Alpha, or a 32 
CPU Sun machine, only slower. :-)

Get lots of RAM. RAM will make you happy. For that matter, get an old 
7200 RPM hard disk. The SCSI controller is slow enough, no sense in 
not getting every bit of performance you can out of it.
