First I: >> ...work in an LC 520 or an LC 575? These have COMM slots. Are they the same >> as in the 6500?
then the pickle: > Check the specs on LEM. I didn't really find much info in the 500 series section. On the 6500, though, I learned that the Comm slot is "PCI-based," so I gather this will not work. An interesting search of the LEM site gave me some info on the Comm slot for these machines, suggesting that few items were made for the slot. The advice to buy Comm slot Ethernet cards rather than PDS cards was interesting... I have a bunch of LC520s, and it looks like they all have Comm slot Ethernet; my LC575s, on the other hand, seem to have PDS Ethernet. -- Timo -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
