When you turn on the Classic II, you probably do not hear a chime, do not 
see an all-gray screen, and do not see any happy or sad Mac icon. If so, 
this problem is not caused by any "zoom" program. Unfortunately, some 
critical part of your logic board is no longer working properly. There is 
a chance you can fix it by reseating the RAM SIMMs or the ROM chips, but 
I have not had any success after seeing this problem in 8 or more Classic 
II Macs.
