The SCSI ID doesn't matter - traditionally they have an ID of 3, but as 
long as you have no clashes, I'd leave it.

Re the floppy, the most likely bet is a bad connection.

However, I once did a Mystic upgrade for someone, and they, too, had a 
non-working floppy drive afterwards. I just wonder if the floppy drive 
circuitry can be bad on some 575 boards???
