Both great printers. They are work horse printers. This is the way to go, if you are on a budget. I'd go the 1200. It turns on automatically and off if not in use. These babies are a piece of cake to refill. I have had tanks that lasted through 10 refills. I bought all of the Stylewriter tanks at Walmart for 7 dollars each. Cannon 02 works with them as well also. Color inkjets cartridges are very expensive. Very expensive. But, I love both.
