Actually, there are 3 items. See below.

There is a choice here, yes. 
1. Old, quirky but small: the MacTCP/PPP set , and
2. FreePPP & the whole somewhat more modern bunch.

Josh, if you look at the jagshouse adres above, you'll find 3 webkit
downloads. The first contains all you need on top of 7.1:

- MacTCP - control panel
- Config PPP - control panel
- PPP - extension

Unpack, put them where they belong and start clicking careful:
1. open MacTCP, set it to 'manual', fill in everything and set it back to
'server'
2. restart and fill in ConfigPPP
3. when done, restart.

hope it works the first time! If not, dump all (also the PPPprefs and
MAcTCP DNR files they created), restart, and unstuff a fresh webkit 1 and
give it another shot.

these extensions seem to be thinking that getting them installed is a game
or something.. :)
