Don't mean to beat a dead horse on this one, but I thought you'd be interested in my opinion. When I first cracked open my SE/30, I went to Sears and bought the Torx screwdriver from them... It's a long shank T-15 and was just under $5.00. It is a very nice tool with a cushioned grip and worked flawlessly, I had no regrets at all on the money well spent. I ended up using it even more for modifications I have done to my Color Classic. It really is a well made tool. However, I also now own a Powerbook 3400... When I wanted to open that and do some upgrades, I quickly found that the T-15 was not the right size... the Powerbooks use a smaller wrench. Why is this relevant? Well, I went out again to buy just the size Torx wrench I needed. I stopped at Home Depot and was plesently surprised. Now, I'm a bit of a tool guy, and I love working on things... What I found was a set of 5 Torx Screwdrivers made by Ridgid. Ridgid makes very nice tools... these were easily of slightly better quality then the Craftsman tool I got from Sears, and, they had swivel heads so that I could rest my Palm on top of the screwdriver while turning the shaft with my fingers... (a must actually when working with smaller components in laptops...) Anyway, the whole set was just under $20... If I had it to do all again, I probably would have just bought that set rather than the individual tool from Sears... But thats just my $.02 Cheers, Sionnach __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
