I need to get a copy of Disk First Aid onto the Mirror so that I can use
it to clean the in-box HD. I do not yet have a net connection to Oliver,
but I do have a working 1.4M floppy drive. I have downloaded Disk First
Aid 6.3 from Apple and Disk Copy and Stuffit Expander and rawrite and
winimage and ... As I read the FAQ, I can build Mac media on my PC, if
I have disk images. But I don't know how to take the small files that
are popping out of the SEAs and HQXs from Apple, put them onto Mac
formatted media, and put the files onto the Mirror drive on Oliver as
executable objects.

HELP!!!!>>>>

i cant help you im afraid but your problem more or less the same as mine
my classic refuses to swallow sit files transfered from my pc to a mac formatted
floppy (using transmac and i am probally doing something wrong )

BTW: At the same time I picked up the Mirror, I acquired a sibling for
Oliver, a Mac SE 4M/800k/20M. I'm looking for naming suggestions. >>>

stupid suggestions :

phillipe (olivier sounds french and that was the first french name i could think off )

twist (not funny pun )

phagin (another unfunny pun )

hey you !

the brick

i can think of more ghastley names but not now
