I did, and it's now a 90% completed PCC :) Installing 8.5 on it as I type. The only thing left to do is cut a slot so the Comm slot II card will fit. Skipping PCI right now, though I do want to get USB going sooner or later. Managed to do it without extending the IDE cable too. Just had to remove the HD sled and flip it the other way. I don't anticipate moving it around too much, plus it's pretty well cushioned by the mass of wiring anyway ;) Also didn't bother with the front panel since I never used it anyway and I'd rather work out a way to get the IR working. It's a mess in there, but it works and still looks fine on the outside ;) 6 gig HD, 128 megs of RAM (assuming I have one of my two 6500 boards in there), if I make room the various video in and out options, TV tuner... I wonder if the people at Apple ever thought a CC would be doing all that ;) So my first major electical project is a success. Now all I need is a name. CSJ would fit, for Cold Solder Joint. Either that or ABUY. Ain't Blown Up Yet. ;) Scott Holder -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
