I stopped by my local Computer Renaissance on the way home tonight to
pick up a keyboard for Annie (my little, orphan SE). While there, the
nice, young woman presented me with two more orphans, a yellowed Mac
Plus (sans keyboard & mouse) and a LC475 base (with memory, FD, and
160MB HD, but without monitor, keyboard, and mouse).

So, Listers, it's time for some opinions and suggestions.

First of all, the Mac Plus. To me this seems like a perfect candidate
for a rodent cage. (My son keeps mice, not fish.) Approvals?
Contraindications? Alternatives? Regardless of the outcome, where can I
get case screws for this and for the planter I mentioned in a previous
message?

Now for the LC475. As you know from my previous messages, I am trying to
set up an Apple Office (tm) in my home. It seems to me that the LC475
could serve as the file and print server for this network. My question
is: can the LC475, once the software has been installed and configured
correctly, start up and run properly sans monitor, keyboard, and mouse?

TIA

No matter how paranoid you are, it isn't paranoid enough.
