I assume this is not just some sort of pin-for-pin connector, like a
DB-25 to DB[sic]-9 adapter or null modem.cable. Can you name some brands
or part numbers so I can make an effective search on eBay?

Does this mean I'll be able to put my 1991-vintage Packard Bell VGA
monitor to use?
