waxing nostalgic ...

The owner's manual was loose-leaf, three-hole-punched, typed (Pica), and
printed by a process one step up from mimeograph. It included documentation
for the 8080 and Z80 assemblers and a note to the effect that they (the
manufacturers) would not presume to bundle in more software than the OS
(CPM) and assemblers because we (the end users) would certainly prefer to
write our own applications.
Ah, the good old days, "when men were men and women were women and furry
green things from Alpha Centauri were furry green things from Alpha
Centauri ..."
