First thing: Broken solder joints on the analog board, which are fixable.

Open it up, remove the plastic cover on the outside of analog board and
inspect all joints. My guess is that you'll find bad ones at an adjustable
coil, pretty much at the top of the board. (Let it have) Resolder(ed) and
let us know if my guess was right :)
