I've been able to printer share with sys 8.1 with mixed results.
Apart from the lack of old mac compatable printer drivers, there have
only been a few other issues. Sometimes I can get a printer to run on
the wrong driver (one meant for a different printer). I also seem to
remember beening able to printer share with sys 7. My biggest problem
with printer sharing is that when I set up to share it doesn't have a
setting for LAN sharing only. The USB printer sharing control panel
is always trying to get online.
