I have opened many, many cases of baby Macs and have NEVER been zapped. The worst thing that happened to me was the deadly snake sound: ssssssss. Boy, do I hate that sound. I have torn down Macs just after I started them and realized that I needed to do something else to them. Still no ZAPPP. I am careful, but it doesn't scare me enough to go out and make me an unzapper! Now days, even the ssss doesn't scare me because I have extra, non-burnin monitors in the garage. The biggest lie ever perpetuated on COMP users is that it doesn't hurt to leave the monitor on 24/7. Get a screen blanking program. Dale -- Caddo County Harpman - ccharpman!
