>How can I access the hidden messages in the Plus, SE, and SE/30 if I >don't have the interrupt switch on the side on the computer? >-- >: - ) - Vern Andrews - - - - - Oregon Trail Descendant > You do have the switch, it's soldered on the mobo. What you lack is just the plastic thingie actuating the switch from the outside. Access the switch through one of the slots on the left side of your Compact with any thin, lengthy plastic THING you can think of. (If you look closely, you can see the round switch surfaces through the couple of airing slots that are slightly higher than the others. The one at the rear is the interrupt aka "programmer's" switch, the fore one is the restart switch.
You might explain to us what you understand by "hidden messages", or what commands you have to type in the window that pops up on hitting the interrupt switch to get to them. Off the top of my head I only recall being able to return to the Finder by typing GFINDER in it.
