There is really no Mac save the first two that just plain can't get online. 
Even a Plus can be internetted, though it may not be very fun. "Can't be 
done" and "Can't be bothered to tell you how" (said by tech support people) 
are two different things. When I was at Earthlink the official support 
papers required MacOS 8.5 or higher, preferably on an iMac. Being one of 
the few Mac Geeks there, I was constantly fixing older machines. My 
nickname there was "Macboy" :) None of the old MindSpring techs (of which 
there are precious few left) ever turned away a Mac user unless they were 
running System 6. I personally teched several 7.1 machines after other 
people said "They can't use the internet. There's no software for 7.1".
