Very well possible.
MPW version 3.5 (indeed of a few months ago) only required system 7.5.
It will run on 030 machines, as long as it has 7.5 or up. If it runs on
68000 or 68020 machines, I don't know.
On a IIci it runs very comfortable, so I guess a SE/30 will do nicely.
I didn't bother to get the the latest 3.6., release date 20th of june 2002.
It is said to be more towards OSX and Carbon, leaving some holes in the low
end.

Ask me - or anybody else - you eventually need the 3.5 version. I got it
pretty complete. (not that I know how to work the b**ch; I returned to
HyperCard instead...)

And yes, 3.5 does assembler for 68000.

PS:The 68000MDS (mid '80) *might* be in the BCS directory on applefritter.com
PS2: for both, Inside Macintosh I-V may be necassary.
