Have you tried formatting the disk in the Plus and _then_ putting it in the PowerMac??
**Yes I format in the PLUS and put it into the PowerMac at work and it reads the disk and writes to it with no problems. Can I restore the desktop on the Powermac afterwards, as it is a workstation at my office, which would not go over well with my coworkers if all was deleted. Do I have to trash anything on the PLUS once I put the disk in?
