Have you tried formatting the disk in the Plus and _then_ putting it in the
PowerMac??

**Yes I format in the PLUS and put it into the PowerMac at work and it reads 
the disk and writes to it with no problems.  The problem is when the disk 
goes back to the PLUS.

***I am confused by all this?!?! So should move the desktop folders/files on 
the powermac to the trash before or after putting my disk in?, copy my files 
and then take the disk to the PLUS?  Can I restore the desktop on the 
Powermac afterwards, as it is a workstation at my office, which would not go 
over well with my coworkers if all was deleted.  Do I have to trash anything 
on the PLUS once I put the disk in?
