Yo compacters everywhere,

Over time, I have collected a growing pile of (probably) perfectly good ImageWriterII
printers and two real Imagewriters. It is now time for me to see if any of these
thrashing machines work. given the business and school origins of most of these
printers, there is chance that one or more have the AppleTalk card option installed.
Reading my three versions of the ImageWriter owner manuals tells me only that such a
card option existed. These manuals do not tell me where it is or how to install it. My
manuals do not even hint how to open an ImageWriter. Now, opening an ImageWriter seems
like a nobrainer-there is only the one metal cover screwed on. Removing the screws, I
have been unable to even remove this cover. So, gimme a hint. How do I get into an
ImageWriterII and what am I looking for? Besides an AppleTalk card, is there anything
else worthy of salvage inside a broken ImageWriter/II?

Bill
