If the disk is Mac-formatted and inserted/powered on when the Mac is
started, it should behave as any other external SCSI. I haven't tested
this, as I just put the drivers on any Macs I might use it with and they
don't load if it's not connected.

If you mean sharing in the networking sense, if the disk's inserted when
you connect and sharing enabled (or you've attached using the 'machine
owner' password) it'll show up alongside any other disks.
