On the Classic, I think all you have is 2M on board, and a card the plugs in for two more megs, four total. If it has the card, pull it, and try to start, if you get the same sad mac codes, I would say get another logic (mother) board. Hope I'm wrong, but I think it may be the onboard ram, I *think* that the onboard is one, two, and the plug in ram board is three, four.
