On behalf of Barbara Steele
(I am a member of the compact Mac mail group but because of the way
America Online writes its email, I can't post to it (my mail gets
returned to me saying it needs simple text).

Would you please post the following letter for me on the compact mac
mail list? I really would appreciate it.)

Dear Compact Mac Users,

I donated 15 Mac SEs and SE/30s to a thrift store in Lancaster which
is in Los Angeles County. They were given to me for my school but my
school only accepts Power Macs. I thought this was the safest way for
me to make them available to you all-in-one Mac enthusiasts.

They all work. I tested them on 8-16-02 and put stickers on them
telling the size of their hard drives (they vary from 20 mb to 100
mb), the amount of Ram (many have 4 or 8 mb of Ram) and what version
of System software (6.0.x or 7.0 or 7.0.1) is on them. One of the
SE/30s has a Radius full page video card in it.

The Thrift Store is selling them each with a keyboard and mouse for
$10 per set up. The Thrift Store is called Assistance League of
Antelope Valley "Twice is Nice" Thrift Shoppe. Their telephone number
is (661) 942-9560. Their address is 44145 North 10th Street West,
Lancaster, CA 93534.

Please pass this message on to your Los Angeles area and Antelope
Valley classic Macintosh enthusiasts.

Sincerely,
Barbara
