Arrgghh... I can't seem to make it work. I dug out one of the SE/30's (running 7.1) and an 800K floppy and then hooked it into my LAN with an AppleTalk bridge. If I format a floppy at 400K and then copy the system files to it, the 128K simply spits the disk out and shows an "X".
If I use DiskCopy 4.2 and use the "Make a Copy" option, the 128K gives me a 0F0062 Sad Mac (supposedly telling me that it's trying to boot from an HFS disk, and doesn't like it)... I used a variety of different System versions, the current one is supposed to be System 1.0, Finder 1.0. Does anyone have any ideas? Maybe the floppy drive in the 128K is hooped? It seems to act the same way with the 800K external floppy attached to the 128K, so that seems unlikely...
