Good idea, but the part of the printer that *may* be broken is not its ability to print per se, but rather its ability to receive info from the computer -- the port... In all honestly the printer shows all signs of working, but until I can get it to print from a computer I'm loathe to tell my friend that her PB1400's printer port is shot and that, realistically, she'll need to get a new computer (since replacing it would be absurdly expensive). -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
