I am/was an Apple Certified Service Engineer (one of our (ex) managers
didn't think we did enough Mac to justify keeping current) - and most
repair they teach is just board-swapping - pretty obvious if you read the
service manuals ['...make sure to move the customers old simms and replace
them in the new motherboard...'].
