Most cable companies give you a discount if you have digital cable AND cable internet -- well worth it... and then go to eBay and find a company called "returnbuy" (I think they sell under the "The Netgear Store" moniker) to find a Netgear RT311 and you are set. They sell fully refurbed units for almost nothing with the latest firmware and all. I buy 'em for my clients and have never had a failure or a "bad" one. And easy enough to set up.....

YIKES..... Please note that I'm NOT endorsing porn, just trying to be fiscally responsible....) > -----Original Message----- > Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: Fri, 20 Sep 2002 14:09:58 -0700 > From: John Niven <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: Re: Question 2 - networking SE/30. > > > From: Marten van de Kraats <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > > Why use a modem?
