Hey folks, Posted a couple days ago about getting my Classic going with System 6 and SCSI/Ethernet, but I've another odd one.
Trying to add some favorite tools, I stuck WindowShade in there to see if it worked. It did! But... my Ethernet connection was gone from MacTCP... so I tried removing WindowShade again, and the Ethernet came back.. Anyone ever heard of anything like that? What possible connection does Windowshade have with MacTCP? And, last but not least, is there a System 6-specific Windowshade extension? The one from 7.5 complains about it not being on 7.5, but it still works aside from the odd MacTCP issues. Thanks, Scott -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
