I will carefully not comment on the first line of your message ;-)  (There's
an example of praeteritio, for the classically over-educated...)

No idea about the temperature issue, but doesn't your porch get damp
sometimes?  My screened-in porch with louvered windows gets very damp on
dew-heavy nights, which is why I never leave anything delicate (like my
powerbook!) out there overnight.  Then again, if your porch is fully glassed
in, maybe you don't have that problem.

I'm assuming of course that the porch is protected from direct rainfall.

Any (indoor) front room windows that would do for the display instead??

Wondering if this list has ever done a "You know you have too many compact
macs when..." thread...
