I recently moved and when I tried to use my computer at my new place, I got this
message on the screen and then dialogue box that is white (blank) and the screen which
has no desktop icons appearing, then freezes. Please help. I need to be able to access
the Internet to apply for jobs. The only way I can access my files is to hit Shift
together with the Power button so that extensions are off.

The message that came on the screen when only the Power button is used is :
"There is not enough memory to load all your extensions. Either remove one or more
extensions from extensions folder or reduce size of RAM disk and/or Disj Cache in the
Memory Control panel then restart your Macintosh".

Before the move, the memory was fine to access Internet through a dial-up freenet. I
even had MacLink 11 which was great to translate PC docs. Now the computer tells me
that "there is not enough memory to open Netscape Communicator (8,500 k is
needed-approx.6,600 is available) It shows total memory to be 36 with 30 for software.
I have been putting everything I think is not crucial on back-ip disks but can't seem
to increase available memory.

I'd appreciate solution to this malfunction. Thanks.
Spiritus
