The connector was most likely for an external monochrome monitor. The one jumper worth note is W or W1, which when installed inserts 1 wait state for each memory access. If you put 70ns or faster SIMMs on the accelerator card, then you can remove the W jumper, and the SE feels faster. System 7.0.1 seems to be the newest you can use reliably with these accelerators. I use the GemStart driver with my Novy's instead of the Novy stuff because GemStart cleans up the sound better. I just found a couple of Dove 16Mhz 68020 accelerators for the SE, and have not tried them yet. Mac Driver Museum has Dove 030 software. Does anyone know if there was software for the Dove 68020?
