Do other drives work OK on that board? Does that SE have the 1.4MB ROMs <and SWIM? -- <the pickle -----------
Lets see, the board has the 1.4MB ROMs and SWIM. I tried it on OS 6.0.8 and 7.0.1. Now with known good floppies and floppy drives it says the floppy is not readable, and if I try to initialize it, it says the disk is bad. Another interesting thing is with two disks in it. When I eject one the other ejects too. I'm going to trash the board and try the ROMs in a different board. All I wanted was the ROMs. johnsn -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
