it could also be the jumpers, or it could be starving for ram i suppose. when i fire mine up i plan to run benchmarks, it's not likely to "feel" like a big change in some apps. and after using a newer machine, any of the compacts seem slow even with an accelerator. it may also require os 7 and or a reinstall of the os, but i think that's in the readme in the file at the driver museum. tattle tech would also be a good way to see if the accelerator is actually online.
