Hi there!

Parity-ram is ram that has an extra bit for each byte, that is used for
error-checking. Usually, non-parity-ram has eigth (8) chips on a stick, whilst
parity-ram has nine (9) chips on a stick. If you're lucky, the mashine will discard
the extra bit in parity-ram, but it *might* get confused, and that's when the problems
start. I can ship you some 1meg sticks for the cost of shipping, if you're interested.
But I suspect that your Quadra-ram works just nicely!!!
