Yo compacters everywhere,

Our Sean Murphy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> askz:

>Anyone ever heard of a little app called "Cricket Presents?" And know
where I can get a copy?

Yup, and I'm going to go look this next week to see if I have cabbaged it and
squirreled it away somewhere. We shall see...

>I'm trying to get my son to learn a presentation package on his SE/30 and I don't
>want to burden the boy or the machine with PowerPoint...

The Office suite that Word 5.1 came in also had a much simpler PowerPoint that may be
useful. It runs real well on your SE/30. Also, you might want to look at the
"ClarisWorks for Kids" version of ClarisWorks. It may well have something useful.
Could be that AppleWorks 5 may have something useful too. AppleWorks 6 has a
presentation package but certainly will not run on an SE/30. If AW 5 has such a
package, I believe (as in hope, hope, hope) it may run on the SE/30. However, if your
"boy" is an MBA student, it is high time he begin mastering the very latest
PowerPoint. =)

I always thought a presentation package for kids consisted of a can of spray paint and
no conscience. Then, again, you just might want to look at what you can create in Kid
Pix.
