I've seen #2 in print twice, now. My Mac Plus is clocked with a 20Mhz.
oscillator to 10Mhz.
The video is clear.

My Classic had a 33Mhz oscillator in it but the video DID go spiked-lines on
me. I believe, had I clocked it to only
10 Mhz., I would have had similar results as the Plus, but with the internal
hard drive, I'd have been able to
do more than I can with the PLus.
