Yo compacters everywhere,

Well, Pastor Glenn is back. And he is still tying to get in to our forum. Until he
gets the keys just right, I guess I have been selected as the messenger for our
brother needing our help but who just can't seem to find this flock.

Our Pastor Glenn at [EMAIL PROTECTED] asks again that I post for him:

Good Evening Mac Friends:
You might remember me, I'm the fellow who knows nothing about computers with
the sick Mac Plus Hard drive.
Now, before you read any further, you better be sitting down. Put that hot cup
of coffee or can of coke away from the computer keyboard as you might spill it and
ruin your keyboard. Assure friends standing close by that you haven't lost your mind,
but are merely reading an e-mail from a Lutheran nut who is seriously computer
challenged.
I hang my head in shame to admit the following -- that funky thing you guys
call a "terminator" . . . . . I thought it was just a really cool looking dust cover
thing for the back of the hard drive. (I know, go ahead and laugh -- see, I told you I
didn't know anything about computers.)
Anyway - moved offices here at Church, (I'm in a heated room now). And didn't
put said "dust cover" back in place.
However - putting it back didn't fix my hard drive. Without the "terminator"
the hard drive just ran but did nothing -- no lights or sounds or anything. Now, the
little red light on the right hand side of the hard drive flashes on and off -- but
the Mac Plus still doesn't know it has a hard drive attached. Did I toast something
when I left the terminator off and turned the hard drive on? Egads!! Tell me there's
still hope. What do I need to do now?
Thank you all so very much
       Pastor Glenn.

Bill
