Public thanks to Marten (van der Kraats) & Martin (Totusek) for their help
in getting my older Yamaha 4x4x16 CDRW up & running under System 7 on the
SE30/33; I've successfully burnt a CDR & copied files & erased a CDRW
(although so far it's only reliable at 2X burn speed), using Toast v3.5.7.

I also have a suggestion for easily altering the appearance of System 7 to
something more like the System 8 interface: just try "Aaron". I've been
using if for many years, *mostly* without problems (I'm still using the
version that I downloaded sometime in 1995/6 AIR). I googled a site here:

<http://www.kaleidoscope.net/greg/aaron.html>

...which has downloads & further info ...but I would also be happy to email
it to anyone, of course (I don't have the original file anymore, just the
extension, which seems to work just fine by itself). I've used this System 7
extension on a Classic II, an SE SD/33 (with Mobius accelerator), and now on
the SE30/33.
