Hi all,

After spending some quality time with my Mac TV I have come to really
enjoy using it. It is not quite as crippled as many claim it is. I
have been able to run many programs and games on it that it shouldn't
technically be able to run with ease. (It even runs some games that
claim to require a '040 processor and that surprised me.) It also makes
a great television.

The issue is that I hear a lot about Macs from its era dying and I do
not want this machine to fall victim to this. It would not be as much
of an issue if it was one of the LCs because they are easy to find and
inexpensive. Does it reduce the life of older Macs like this to use
them on a daily basis? What can I do to make sure that it remains
fully functional for years to come?

Thanks a lot,

Matt
