Per the pickles advice from a few days ago, I installed OT/PPP on my SE/30 running system 7.1. Incidently, in the Read Me file that states the system requirements, it recommends that 7.5.3 is used but will work with 7.1 as well.
Aside from the fact that I forgot to swap my modems, (which got me disconnected in a matter of minutes trying to run a v.90 modem on a compact mac), everything worked flawlessly. I've always liked that "flashing" telephone pole over the Apple menu too. About the only gripe I've got is that the PPP window is too large for a compact screen. I guess that shouldn't even be called a gripe, more or less just an observation. Thanks again, J White Buy American S.O.S. Save Our Steel -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
