Hi all, Does anyone know of a Quicktime Movie player that is faster than the one that comes with Quicktime 2.5?
On my Mac TV I have some games that can play Quicktime movies stretched to full screen flawlessly but if I play the same exact video while stretched to full screen in the Movie Player it chokes. This happens with other videos not related to a game as well. (I just used game videos to test my theory) I have seen this happen in more than one application, even though they are both using the same extension and libraries to play the video it appears that the algorithm in Movie Player that is responsible for changing the video size it just inferior to that of well tuned programs.
