This site will explain the basic process of getting a MAC running that doesn't have it's OS. The site doesn't have anything about iMacs (from memory) though. You'll need to download pre system 6 (this page has the links) and then get that across from your iMac to your 512. I guess you'll need a USB floppy for that or search somewhere for the links to networking system 8 to system 6. Googles your best bet. Good luck and have fun!
