Hello! First of all, I would like to thank to everyone that has replied to my questions :) . You are really fellows! And now, a couple of notes about your answers:
About WriteNow/MS Word: I wanted them to use the Mac to write texts, and then carry them to my XP box (that has MS Word XP). The good news are that WriteNow 4 supports RTF (my favourite word processing format!). The bad news are that in my Mac I have WriteNow 2.0, and that System 6 Heaven lists WriteNow 4.0 but does not provide a link for it :( . Anyone can help? About the fault file associations: rebuilding the desktop file has helped a lot. Even some applications have recovered their icons (they were shown with the default application icon before that). But I have a bunch of ShrinkIt files copied via TransMac and a 1.44 Mb dikette that aren't associated. I think that the problem is that the filetype/creator of the files aren't correct. What should them be for ShrinkIt archives? I'm thinking about writting an introduction to the world of the System 6 macs for Windows users, telling the people how the Mac works and to solve the problems I have found arround.
