Hi folks, On with the 128k/Plus saga. The machines two screws in the handle are completely stripped and my Mac Hex Wrench will not turn the screws at all! Has anyone heard of this problem, and other than cracking the case off (possibly permantly damaging it) are there any ways I can get it off???
I want to get in there to see what kind of motherboard it has (either 128k or 512k) not to mention try to see if I can get the SCSI to work. I read in an early Mac User that there were some pre-release ROM upgrades that would allow someone to put in an 800k internal drive (an external 800k works too). So that is what this must have. ACK!
