The same reason people overclock TI graphing calculators, put 500 hp Chevy 
350s into Datsuns, and still use 8mhz machines with computers 200 times as 
fast are available. Because we can ;) And it's fun, too. I recently picked 
up a 10mhz 68010 chip I'm goign to try putting in my Plus. Whether or not I 
try to make it go 10mhz is still to be seen, but having a 68010 in there 
would be neat.
