Could be that the (is it 6.0.8?) system file on Jags 800k Mini System disc is missing some required resources, either because he trimmed it down, or because you didn't use installer(s) when (if) you added updates. The installers usually add resources to the system file, as well as adding the inits. Some of the init versons listed above are not the latest, as can be found on Network Software Installer 1.4.4.
