If you got the 4-disk HyperCard set, your have a Help disk and an Ideas 
disk. Be sure to start with the Tour; I think it was on the Help disk. 
Help explains how HyperCard works. Every card in "Stack Ideas" is a 
prototype for a new stack so you don't have to start from scratch.

While it is possible to run floppy-based, you normally copy all the 
HyperCard stuff to a hard drive. HyperCard 1.2.5 is a good version, but 
there was a major upgrade with the 2.x series, and the 1.x engine will 
not recognize anything created with 2.x. 2.x includes "Stack Templates" 
in place of "Stack Ideas", but it is not as extensive.
