Tacy Keirns is the resident expert on painting Mac cases.

I hope she weighs in, here. You need to see her site on Macs
in her classroom and what she's done with her students and painting
them in the classroom.

With all this talk about painting, and having acquired two more Plusses, I
think I'M going into the decorative Mac business.

Here comes some competition, Tracy.......;^)

I wouldn't call myself an expert, but I do seem to have a permanent paint buzz going on here. I've gotta start paying attention to that "well ventilated" part. LOL

Let's see. I did an end of the year painting project with my students this year. This time we painted the Macs using Latex paint and foam brushes. They turned out really nice. I couldn't take the kids out and spray paint because of the weather, but I think painting them by hand went even better with that large of a group of kids. I entered this project in the Apple iLife educator awards contest, so if they liked it enough to post it on their site I'll let you all know! (Keep your fingers crossed for me...I'd love to win!)

I just finished painting a Classic II with Krylon's new spray paint that is made for plastic. (I'll get pics up tonight if I get a chance.) The paint is called Fusion. Let me tell you, I REALLY like this new paint. It goes on great and isn't sticky at all once it dries. Some of my first paint jobs were pretty tacky even after they dried because I didn't use any primer. So if you want to just spray them and go, I suggest the new Krylon paint!!

I can't wait for some competition Jeff, but I can tell you right now that I won't be competing with you over who can get zapped by the CRT and live the longest. The way I see it, you win that one by default! LOL

Tracy
