Hi everyone,

I'm running a Mystic with 040 and 36mb RAM and OS 7.1
I haven't used this machine in a few weeks and an odd thing happened when I
turned on tonight - There is no menu at the top.

The nav bar with apple, file, edit etc was missing. Everything worked as
normal. Apps open and worked fine. Everything seemed to operate ok except
that there are no drop down menus.
I tried zapping PRAM and rebuilding the desktop but neither made any
difference.

Then I then suddenly remembered I'd loaded MenuChoice. I unchecked the box
that hides the menu. Damn that was simple.

I'm running 6 different versions of Mac OS on these machines (not to mention
the set ups at work)

I wonder how much productive time we waste solving stupid problems like this
(not to mention writing this email) or is it just me?

At least 7.1 boots so fast that it doesn't matter much ;-)

Chris
